Bombay Bar Association Contributes Rs.10 Lakh To Combat COVID-19

In order to combat the coronavirus crisis in India and after PM Modi appealing to contribute to the Prime Minster Cares Fund to battle the virus, the Bombay Bar Association (BBA) has pledged Rs.10 lakhs to the fund.

A notice in this regard was issued by the bar association’s secretary, senior advocate Birendra Saraf.

Like other countries across the world, India too is combating to prevent the transmission of the highly contagious coronavirus.

The country is in desperate need of resources and medical facilities for all our fellow countrymen who have lost their daily livelihood and struggling for survival.”

An appeal to the advocates to make contributions towards the cause has also been made by the association.

“Our members have in the past risen to help in various natural disasters. These are extraordinary times and we are confident that our members will make the maximum contribution they can.”, read the notice.
