SC and Delhi HC Judges Donate To The PM Care Fund To Battle Against Coronavirus

With the combined efforts of 33 judges along with the Chief Justice of India, a donation of Rs. 50,000 was made by each of the judges to the PM Care Fund as a contribution that can help battle coronavirus in the county.

An official of the Supreme Court said that cheques have been sent.

On Tuesday, judges of the Delhi High Court have donated Rs 10 lakh to the PM Care Fund to help in the difficult situation of Coronavirus as mentions the registry of the High Court.

Earlier, senior judge, Justice N V Ramana has also made the donation of 1 lakh to the fund. Along with to the funds of chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Number of cases reported in the last 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, there are 386 new cases of coronavirus. Now the total has risen to 1,637. On Wednesday, 32 new cases were reported in Delhi. The total in Delhi spikes to 152. From these, 29 of them are linked to the Nizamuddin group.
