After the Supreme Court’s recent verdict, the Central Bureau of Investigation will handle the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, a Bollywood actor who died on 14th July at his Bandra residence. The CBI team is already in Mumbai and has commenced investigations.

The CBI team has visited the Bandra police station today to take over the case from the Mumbai Police. Reports from Times Now has it that the CBI team will question the five doctors from Cooper hospital

who carried out the autopsy of the Bollywood star. Further reports suggest that the doctors will also be interrogated about the presence of Rhea Chakraborty in the hospital on 15th June as well as who allowed her into the morgue.

The CBI team will also be visiting Sushant’s home today where they will recreate the crime scene spot. Apart from collecting the case diary, the actor’s laptop, phone and other forensic materials, the CBI team is also expected to speak to Abhishek Trimukhe, Mumbai Police DCP who has been heading the case.
