Gujrat’s anti-terror Law gets a nod from President Ram Nath Kovind
Gujrat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GCTOC) Bill, 2015, gets approved by the president and will now allow intercepted audio conversations and confessions to te police to be presented as evidence before the court and allows the police to detain a person without bail.

Arms act amendment proposed- From three to only one gun allowed to Indian gun holders

17,500 Children Rape cases in a Year. The Law to Ensure Justice for Them Wasn’t Used in 10,000 Cases
In 2017, out of the 17,557 cases of child rape registered in India under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO), which is a special act meant to deal with sexual crimes against the minors was not invoked in more than 10,000 or 57 percent of the cases, Reveals the latest data released last month under the ‘Crime in India’.

After 12-hour questioning the BJP leader DPS Rathore, the special investigation team (SIT) finally gets the laptop and pen drive of Union Minister Swami Chinmayanand who has been accused of sexually assaulting a law student.
